ShootArchery.com

The main purpose of the ShootArchery.com web-site is to provide Tournament shooters a place to come and see Archery Tournament results. Likewise, the web-site provides Archery Clubs, a place to advertise their schedules and gives them an easy quick means of getting their results out to the public.

ShootArchery.com posts tournament results as soon as we get them. Some clubs will email their results to us and some clubs will use other means to get their results to us.

How prompt the clubs are at sending results varies greatly from club to club. Some clubs will send results on Sunday night as soon as their tournament is over while others may not send their results till much later. Either way, we post them as soon as we get them. If you see a tournaments results posted on Sunday night, its because we received the results on Sunday night. If its weeks before you see a result posted, its because it was weeks before we received the results. We strive to work within the time constraints and schedule of each individual club.

There are a couple of things we can do that might help get the results up a little quicker or otherwise make it more convenient for the shooter.

1. When you register at a Shoot, remind the club that you use ShootArchery.com. Remind them that ShootArchery.com is eager to post their results. Tell them that you go to ShootArchery.com for Results, Schedules and Local Tournament news. Tell them you appreciate all their work and efforts and that it would be easier on them and the shooter if they would send info to ShootArchery.com as quick as possible.

2. After a shoot, if several days pass and you don't see the results posted on the web-site, call the club's representatives. Their phone numbers are listed on the site. Don’t hesitate to call them. They already hear from me, enough, as it is. But, the visitors of the site can help us out here by calling them also, and encouraging them to send us the results. Once they send us the results, we will post them, and their phones will stop ringing.

We post schedules, contact info, and results at no charge to the clubs. The Participating Clubs that use our free services, should send their results promptly. Sending results promptly is one of the requirements a club has to agree to, before they become a ShootArchery.com Participating Club. If results are delayed, please help us out and call one of the club's representatives. It is ShootArchery.com's position that we should not have to make a phone call to remind a club to do something they have agreed to do already. If the shooters could help us out here... it would be greatly appreciated...

Currently we have a section on the site that lists most recent results. When looking for recent results, simply scroll to this section and check there first. This section is located on the Main Schedule page. If the results you seek are not listed there or on the main schedule page, its because we haven't received them. Please call the club and inquire with them before emailing us. If they inform you that their results have been sent in, then by all means, feel free to contact us and put us to task. We are here to bring you results.

It would be to our delight, if all of the clubs would send their results on the day of the Shoot. If that happened, you would see the results posted that evening or early am the next morning. But we understand the time constraints and limited personnel on the part of local clubs won’t permit that at the present. Some clubs have dedicated members who see to it, that it does happen that way, and to those clubs, we are especially appreciative.

So far, the participating clubs are all located in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia and Tennessee. These Regions are rich in Tournament opportunity and it’s all because of a lot of hard work done by individual members of the various clubs. We appreciate all the work that club members do to put on an Archery Tournament. We hope that providing a place for Clubs to post results, schedules, and any local tournament news, will ultimately result in higher shooter participation.

We hope to increase our coverage in the future. It’s our goal to help "local" archery programs expand and grow anywhere in the United States.
